Somerville screen
The Somerville screen makes sure that no fibre useful for papermaking is left behind in the content. It also ensures that no significant fibre bundles are present in the accepted stock. This method is applicable to all mechanical pulps and chemical pulps, and is also used to determine the contraries (stickies) remaining in recycled waste furnishes.
